Display & Characteristics

Oppo chose a 6.5-inch LCD display with full-HD with a resolution of (1080 × 2340 pixels). It has high definition and good viewing angles. You can also customize the display colors to your liking.

The display size of the F11 Pro is 6.5 inches and the company claims that the phone has a screen-to-case ratio of 90.9%. It does not have any cut. Instead, the front camera automatically, pop-up on top. It can be a reason that Oppo F11 Pro price in Pakistan is a little high.

This module contains only the front camera and appears every time you start it or use face recognition. Since this is a motorized module, we are not sure how reliable it will be in the long run.

It is possible that the ingress of moisture can damage the mechanism. This phone is also equipped with an optional microphone and has an ambient light sensor at the top.

On the right, above the display, is a long and narrow earpiece, located between the frame and the display. The proximity sensor is on the left of the headphone and neatly hidden.

Buttons, Ports, & Connectors

At the bottom of the phone, there is a Micro-USB port, which is disappointing, considering that even budget smartphones, such as the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Samsung Galaxy M20, have switched to the modern USB Type-C standard.

Next to the Micro USB port are a 3.5 mm audio jack, a microphone hole, and a speaker grille.

The case of the Oppo F11 Pro seems to be made of plastic, but it doesn’t look fragile. Oppo has the power button on the right and the volume buttons on the left.

All three are well located and easily accessible. The hybrid tray, with two SIM cards, is located just above the power button.

Connections, to the F11 Pro, includes dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS / A-GPS.

The F11 Pro has curved sides that make it comfortable to hold in your hand, although its weight is 191 grams heavier than the average.

F11 Pro Phone Memory & Processor

Oppo F11 Pro is different from other smartphones, in the price range on the market, thanks to the pop-up front camera. Its hardware is acceptable, but not extraordinary.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 8-core processor, with four Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. This processor, combined with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.

Ironically, the Oppo F11, which was launched along with the Pro model, gets 128 GB of internal memory, but not the F11 Pro. You have the opportunity to expand the storage of memory using a microSD card, instead of the second SIM-card. Of course the 128 Gb oppo F11 Pro price in Pakistan will more high than 64Gb.

Software In Oppo F11 Pro

Oppo F11 Pro comes with ColorOS 6, in conjunction with Android 9 Pie (Definitely the Oppo F11 Pro price in Pakistan we must get the Pie 9 Android in this price range of Mobile Phone ). This is a significant change compared to older versions of ColorOS based on Android Oreo. The new user interface is minimalistic and has a clean look.

Here, you will see oversized toggle buttons that are easy to recognize. The screen brightness slider is at the bottom, therefore, it is available, when using the phone, with one hand.

Press any volume button to change the volume and you will also see the increased sliders next to the buttons on the display. They are similar to the implementation of Xiaomi, in MIUI 10.

Interface and pre-installed applications on the phone

Oppo has also developed several user interface settings. You can choose between the traditional three-button, navigation layout or two-button navigation system, similar to the standard Android 9, on the Google Pixel 3.

When using the latter, you will have to hold up the button, in the form of a tablet, to switch, between recently used applications.

On the Oppo F11 Pro, quite a lot of applications are pre-installed, including your own AppStore, Theme Store, Music Party, and Oroaming, as well as Facebook, UC Browser, PayTM, Wynk Music, Daily hunt, Web novel, NewsPoint, Amazon Shopping and ShareChat.

There are applications called Hot Apps and Hot Games, which, at first glance, look like folders, but, in fact, are part of the Oppo AppStore.

Google apps are also preinstalled. The number of third-party software is large, but most of it can be deleted to clear the memory of a smartphone.

Modes and functions supported by F11 Pro

As in the old Oppo smartphones, there is a Smart Driving mode that turns on automatically when the phone is connected via Bluetooth to the head unit of the car, while the Riding mode seems to be a new addition.

It disables everything except incoming calls. Gesture control is also available and you can launch applications by drawing on the screen when it is turned off.

Oppo f11 Pro price in Pakistan is very affordable it is also implemented various power saving modes in the Settings app. They work by preventing unnecessary applications from running in the background.

Ultra-high energy efficiency mode is available, which closes some background applications, disables automatic data synchronization, turns off vibration, and lowers the screen brightness to use as little energy as possible.

Also, there is a sleep mode that helps reduce battery drain when the device is in standby mode.

Game Space has a new look. This is the only place where all the games installed on your smartphone are displayed.

This application also claims to optimize the performance of your games, by clearing the RAM, before launching them.

You get the opportunity to block both banner notifications and calls during the game. It also has three modes: “high performance”, “balanced” and “low power consumption”.

They determine how many resources the phone allocates when you play games. PUBG Mobile is compatible with the Oppo game engine and we saw a banner notification that the phone is optimized for gaming.

Clone applications allow you to run two instances of supported applications, including WhatsApp and Facebook. In our review, the February security update was installed, which appeared only recently.

Phone performance F11 Pro

We tested the processor Helio P70, in Realme U1, and also, in the recently launched Realme 3. The Oppo F11 Pro price in Pakistan is significantly higher than that of these two smartphones, but between them, there is not much difference in performance.

You will not notice a delay or slowdown when scrolling through the menu during multitasking. 6 GB of RAM, help F11 Pro to save background applications in memory, which helps in the transition between multiple applications.

We were curious to see how face recognition would work, given that the camera module should appear every time you want to unlock the phone.

Only the front camera slipped out, scanned our face and immediately slid down. This thing of Oppo F11 Pro is very attractive with less price in Pakistan.

There are two options for unlocking a face: one activates it when you press the power button, and the other requires you to wipe the lock from the screen first.

The phone also increases the brightness of the display in the dark to ensure proper scanning of the face.

Fingerprint scanner for Oppo F11 Pro works well and is able to quickly unlock the smartphone. In this price range of Oppo F11 Pro In Pakistan, we should get a fingerprint on the screen.

We played PUBG Mobile as well as Asphalt 9: Legends to evaluate performance.

On the smartphone, by default, the average settings are set, for PUBG Mobile, the graphics are set to “Balanced”, and the frame rate is set to “Average”.

With these settings, the phone can play, without any noticeable delays or slowdowns. Improving the quality of the graphics has made some slowdowns.

Asphalt 9 worked with the settings, the default and was suitable for the game, but we noticed an occasional slowdown on several racetracks.

The loudspeaker is loud enough to enjoy the game and watch the video.

Battery runtime

A large battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh with the price tag of 53000 Pkr of F11 Pro in Pakistan is impressive. It is designed for gaming practice and does it well. In our HD video test, the phone managed to work 20 hours, which is great.

With our use, which consisted of work, with an active WhatsApp account, playing PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9: Legends, for a total of 30 minutes, running several tests, navigating for two hours, using Google Maps and taking photos , the phone still had 46 percent of the charge, in its battery, at the end of the workday.

We had a smartphone, with the power saving features turned off. You can extend battery life by turning on some of them.

After two quick sessions, at PUBG Mobile, which lasted about 11 minutes, we noticed that the battery charge was only 3 percent.

Oppo delivers, in a box, a 20-watt VOOC charger that helps you quickly charge a large 4000 mAh battery. After the battery is completely discharged, in our video test, we connected it to the charger.

F11 Pro charges up to 46 percent in 30 minutes, and it took about 1 hour and 45 minutes to fully charge. We noticed that the charging speed slows down after the battery reaches 80 percent.

Cameras and their characteristics

This phone has a dual camera, located behind, in the center, on a slightly, raised strip. Capacitive fingerprint scanner, located just below the camera and it is easy to get.

The 48-megapixel main camera, on the Oppo F11 Pro, is widely advertised and we wanted to see how it meets the Oppo requirements. This camera has an aperture of f / 1.7 and is paired with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. We got 48-megapixel in Oppo F11 Pro with less price in Pakistan.

The Oppo’s camera software is minimalist, the mode switch is at the bottom of the screen, and the quick switches are located on top.

camera of oppo f11 pro

The “Photo”, “Video” and “Portrait” modes are easily accessible, while the “Panorama”, “Expert”, “Timelapse”, “Slide-Mo” and “Night landscape” modes are hidden in the submenu.

The new Chroma Boost feature has a fast switch, just like HDR, which we set to the “Auto” position.

The camera application also has an AI scene recognition function, which is enabled by default. The decoration is available and you can set the desired level of decoration or turn it off completely.

While the Oppo advertises the main 48-megapixel rear camera, by default, it allows you to take 12-megapixel shots.

If you switch to full resolution, you will miss features such as Chroma Boost, HDR, filters, decoration, AI scene recognition, continuous shooting and even zooming.

In addition to higher resolution, we did not notice a significant difference in quality.

The quality of shooting

During the shooting, the phone quickly measured the scene, on the subject of lighting and locked focus. Daylight shots taken with the F11 Pro were clear and contained many details.

AI scene recognition was quick, on detecting what we were shooting and could adjust the camera accordingly. When shooting against the light, the camera automatically turned on the HDR.

Macros had the exact color and were quite detailed. Portrait mode allows you to use an additional sensor to distinguish between objects of the background and adds a nice bokeh effect. No settings are available to adjust the blur level.

Photos taken at night had a very low noise level and there was no grain on the output. The phone was able to capture a large number of parts and objects, at a distance, were recognizable.

We found that the Oppo F11 Pro took more time to block the focus at night and sometimes it took us to press to focus.

Nightscape mode is convenient, in low light and takes pictures with longer shutter speed.

This gives brighter results, but we noticed a loss of detail when photographing landscapes. It is believed that Chroma Boost improves the dynamic range of photos and is best used when shooting in the light.

We saw an increase in color, but in some scenarios, the pictures looked a bit artificial.

Self-portraits made with the pop-up, 16-megapixel front camera had clear colors and good details. When taking shots in strong light, we noticed that the F11 Pro, sometimes, overexposed the background.

The maximum video recording speed is 1080p, for both the main and front cameras, which is somewhat disappointing, since most phones advertise 4K video recording at this price.

Fortunately, image stabilization is available and helps to shoot video without any problems.
